BHINDI MASALA (Okra) Recipe

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients Required

 

1 Whole onion

Ginger & Garlic paste or fresh 2tbs of each coarsely chopped in half

Ghee/Olive oil (1/4cup) fry for 5 minutes.

¼tbs Cumin powder

¼tbs DUAL’S Garam Masala powder

¼ tbs Turmeric powder

2-4 fresh Green Chili or ½ tbs Chili powder (optional)

Salt (optional), Fry for few minutes.

One pound fresh okra (Bhindi)

1/3 cup of Olive oil

Fresh coriander leaf (cilantro)

1st

1 Whole onion, Ginger & Garlic paste or fresh 2tbs of each coarsley chopped. In half the ghee/Olive oil (1/4cup) fry for 5 minutes.

2nd

Add to the 1st mixture, ¼tbs Cumin powder, ¼tbs DUAL’S Garam Masala powder,

¼ tbs Turmeric powder, 2-4 fresh Green Chili or ½ tbs Chili powder (optional), salt (optional), Fry for few minutes.

3rd

One pound fresh okra (Bhindi) cut both side washes it nice. Slice the okra at desired length in an angle. 1/3 cup of Olive oil in a separate frying pan fry for okra 3-5 minute. Take out the okra adds to the 2nd mixture spice above. Cover and cook about 8-10 minutes on low heat. Remove from the heat and serve hot, garnished with the fresh coriander leaf (cilantro).
