CHANA MASALA (Chick peas) Recipe.

 

 

Ingredients For Recipe.

1 whole Tomato
1 whole Onion
Ginger & Garlic paste 2tsp of each coarsely chopped
1/2 cup of Ghee/Olive oil
Green Cardamom
4 Bay leaf

4 Clove 2 Cinnamon sticks
1½ tsp Dual's Special Garam masala
1 tsp Cumin powder 1 tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Turmeric powder
Pinch of Mango powder
Pinch of Pomegranate powder
2-4 dried Red Chili or Chili powder (optional)
Salt (optional) 
Chickpeas 1½-2lbs
2 (8-oz cup) water

1st

1 whole Tomato, 1 whole Onion, Ginger & garlic paste or fresh 2tsp of each coarsely chopped. 1/2 cup of Ghee/Olive oil, stir and fry until well blended.

2nd

Add with 1st above, 4 Green Cardamom, 4 Bay leaves, 4 Clove, 2 Cinnamon stick,

1½ tsp Dual

L tsp Special Garam masala, 1 tsp Cumin powder, 1 tsp Coriander powder,

1 tsp Turmeric powder, pinch of Mango powder, pinch of pomegranate powder, 2-4 dried Red Chili or Chili powder (optional), salt (optional), Fry for few minutes. Add can chickpeas 1½-2lbs fry for another 4 minutes with mix spices above.

3rd

Add with 2nd mix spices above, 2 (8-oz cup) of water add moe or less. Cover and cook about 12-15 minutes. On low heat until the thickness of gravy.

 

Serving Suggestion: Fresh Green cilantro & green onion chopped. “2-4 Persons’’
